PopCult Anime Con 2022

PopCult Anime Con is a two-day multi-genre pop-culture and cosplay convention in the Bay State of Massachusetts. The first PCAC was held in August of 2016 at the Sheraton Framingham castle hotel and will make its new home at the Westin Waltham-Boston August 27-28, 2022.

Started by a handful of New England geek-and-nerd fans, it was PCAC’s founders’ hope to blend a celebration of all things summer with the warmth many of us felt when the once underground comic- and anime-convention scene began to blossom into the multi-genre and pop-culture spectacle it is today. We want to make PCAC feel like a summer vacation compared to more crowded and heavily scheduled cons. A place with all the same great programming, such as the Masquerade, AMV contest, game shows and exhibitors’ room; as well as less common and more relaxing activities like evening dances, blanket fort building workshops and intimate guest opportunities! Like visiting a rustic port town, we hope that a weekend at PopCult Anime Con will fill attendees with knowledge and admiration for the many local artists and craftsmen, musicians and storytellers, comics and personalities all creating content right here in New England.
