Karl Altstaetter

Karl Altstaetter has worked in the comic industry since the early 90’s. Working for Marvel, DC and Image comics on such titles as X-Men, Avengers, Vampirella, Bloodstrike and Battlestar Galactica.

Always looking for new challenges, Karl created his own comic book publishing company Hyperwerks Entertainment. While managing Hyperwerks, he co-created and published several hit titles including Saint Angel, Cats Eye and the hugely popular flagship title Deity.

For the past 15 years Karl has worked in the toy industry working for Mattel, Spinmaster, MGA and Jakks on world class toy properties. Batman, Teen Titans Go and Jurassic World just to name a few.

Karl continues to design toys and create new comics including his latest project the Fantasy themed “Mirror” which he has partnered with Webtoons to bring to life.
