I photographed this windblown Ruby Rose from RWBY at Indiana Comic Convention. She was by far the youngest Cosplayer that I photographed there, and I was so thankful a parent was available to sign a model release. Sadly, I have to turn away a lot of amazing younger Cosplayers because of that. Teenagers bring your parent with you to conventions. Oftentimes, they enjoy it as much or more than you!

This spot-on Fat Thor Cosplay showed up at my doorstep at Vermont Sci-Fi & Fantasy Expo last weekend. I also have to give a big shout-out to Thor’s alter-ego Shawn the Cosplayer as well as all of the staff at Vermont Sci-Fi & Fantasy Expo as they helped us contact some incredible Cosplayers prior to the Con and even brought many right to our door during the convention! Thanks so very, very much!

Oh my goodness! Much to my delight, I stumbled across this amazing Emily Cosplay from Corpse Bride at Tsubasacon! Everyone knows how much I love attention to detail, and wow, did this Cosplay deliver? First, trailing behind Emily was Scraps, the skeleton dog from the movie. Too cute! Then, of course, there was the snake actually coming out of the right eye socket – that took the Cosplay to an entirely new level!

🏹🌬️ When Fantasy of the Dream meets the needle & thread, 𝓂𝒶𝑔𝒾𝒸 happens. Sakizou‘s Cosplay, a homage to breathtaking Japanese art, won hearts and awards at ConnectiCon. It’s not just art; it’s a dream woven into reality.

🎭 This Cosplayer, not only a master of crafts but also a warrior in science by contributing to the Moderna vaccine, helped bring us back to the world of conventions. A talent that not only captures fantasies but also fights pandemics.🛡️

Their talent will be showcased at the FotoNostrum Cosplay 50 Exhibition, a fantasy turned real.

I love it when Cosplay seamlessly melds with the art world. This Sakizou from Fantasy of the Dream Cosplay was inspired by a Japanese Illustrator. This amazing Cosplayer won the Advanced Adult Masters Craftsmanship at this year’s ConnectiCon! Congratulations!! A special thanks also goes out to this amazing Cosplayer who worked on the Moderna vaccine so now we all can go to conventions again!
