This Queen of Hearts Cosplay is a part of the Disney Villains group that I photographed at Rose City Comic Con in Oregon. This amazing group of friends Cosplay together at conventions and have been for years. Their Cosplays are to die for, and they filled our session with quirk and laughter.

Photographing this amazing Captain Hook Cosplay was a pure delight. She attended Rose City Comic Con in Portland with a group of friends and I can honestly say they gave me one of my most memorable and joyful photo shoots to date. When I saw this Spock cosplay at Rose City Comic Con I was speechless. Actually, speechless is an understatement. Few cosplayers come into my studio that are so true to life and realistic that they give me chills. There were times when shooting SpockonEarth that I had a hard time functioning and even speaking, as he bears such an eerily and uncanny resemblance to Leonard Nimoy’s portrayal of Spock.

Happy (early) May the 4th! I photographed this Hera Syndulla Cosplay from Star Wars Rebels, the Animated Series at Rose City Comic Con. All I can say is the make-up, body paint, and costuming here was done flawlessly and was an absolute JOY to photograph and edit!

I photographed this stunning Hippolyta Cosplay at Rose City Comic Con. When we photograph a Cosplay we are always looking to highlight what makes it unique, special, and why on the floor that particular Cosplayer stood out to us. This entire Cosplay was gorgeous and I really wanted to highlight the crest (broom bristles, amazing!) on the top of the head and that beautiful flowing cape!

I have had the honor of photographing The Honest Cosplayer two times in the last year.  The first time was at Emerald City Comic Con as Suki from Avatar: The Last Airbender. This time was at Rose City Comic Con as  Ganondorf from The Legend of Zelda. Truly one of the most talented cosplayers out there.

I have to admit I did not know this cosplay when I first saw it. I just saw the all the red and my jaw-dropped. The Painted Doll Cosplay is from The Devil’s Carnival.
