Kumoricon 2026

Kumoricon is Portland's volunteer-run anime and Japanese culture convention, held since 2003 and produced by the nonprofit Altonimbus Entertainment. It takes over the Oregon Convention Center each fall and drew nearly 12,000 paid members in 2024.

The 2026 show (November 13–15) welcomes voice actors Patrick Seitz, SungWon Cho, Erica Mendez, Kira Buckland, Emi Lo, Ricco Fajardo, Casey Mongillo, Damien Haas, Khoi Dao, Laura Stahl, Lisa Reimold, Landon McDonald and Stephen Fu; musical guests Phoebe Chan and Japanese producer Maozon with DJs Mitomoro, Khek and Jimni Cricket; cultural guests including wotagei team Team Sakuraka and University of Oregon professor Alisa Freedman; and cosplay guests Colleen Cosplay, AlpacaAsh, Tacocat Cosplay, May Jean Cosplay and Chrissy Plays Dressup. Expect a cosplay contest, cosplay chess, the AMV contest, a maid café, an idol festival, the KumoriBall and late-night dances, a Gunpla lounge and the KumoriMarket with its exhibitors and Artist Alley.
