Archon 2026

Archon is St. Louis's long-running, volunteer-run science fiction and fantasy convention, hosted by St. Louis Science Fiction, Ltd. every year since 1977 and held at the Gateway Convention Center in Collinsville, Illinois, just east of St. Louis.

Archon 49 runs October 2–4, 2026. Guests include Special Guest Larry Niven (Ringworld), Guest of Honor Fran Wilde, Artist Guest of Honor Joy Alyssa Day, Toastmaster David Mack (Star Trek novels), Filk Guest of Honor Tim Griffin, Fan Guest of Honor Wyatt Weed and Masquerade MC Kevin Dulle, along with hundreds of program participants. The weekend offers panels and workshops, the renowned Saturday-night Masquerade costume competition, a hallway costume contest, an art show and charity auction, a dealers' room with Creators Alley and Booksellers Row, extensive tabletop gaming, filk, children's programming, a dance and room parties.
