Capclave 2026

Capclave is the Washington Science Fiction Association's annual literary science fiction and fantasy convention, a small, relaxed gathering in the Washington, DC area whose program centers on short fiction.

Capclave 2026 runs October 2–4, 2026 at the Hilton Washington DC/Rockville in Rockville, Maryland. Guests of Honor are Hugo, Nebula and Locus Award winner Rebecca Roanhorse (Trail of Lightning, Black Sun, Marvel's Echo) and Nino Cipri (Finna, Homesick, Dead Girls Don't Dream). The weekend brings panels and discussions with authors, editors, artists and fans, author readings, writing workshops, a dealers' room of books, magazines, art and crafts, a game room, a hospitality suite and evening room parties.
