Carolina Furfare 2026

Carolina Furfare (CFF), formerly Blue Ridge Furfare, is a family-friendly furry convention run by the nonprofit North Carolina Anthropomorphic Society. Inspired by its origin city of Asheville and hosted by mascots Petal the possum and Aster the squirrel, it celebrates the art, culture and community of the furry fandom, Hickory and the Blue Ridge Mountains, with a dealers den, artist alley, fursuit photo shoot and parade, dance competitions, a car show, a game room, nightly DJs, panels and a charity drive.

The 2026 edition, themed "Cryptid Catastrophe", runs October 1–4, 2026 at the Hickory Metro Convention Center in Hickory, North Carolina. Guest of Honor is artist Saturn of Hare Coven, joined by the Moms of Furries; this year's charity is Rescue Tails Animal Sanctuary.
