Imperial Valley Entertainment Convention 2026

The Imperial Valley Entertainment Convention (IVEC) is the Imperial Valley's largest pop culture convention, founded in 2017 by comic writer and former El Centro comic shop owner Ruben Najera. It celebrates its eighth year in 2026.

The 2026 show runs Saturday, September 26 from noon to 7 p.m. in the convention hall of the Cambria Hotel in Imperial, a new venue for the event. Guests include WWE Hall of Famers Rikishi and The Honky Tonk Man, Chavo Guerrero Jr. and Thamiko Fatu, Bendy and the Dark Revival voice actors Dave Rivas and Sean Crisden, Peter Dante, Janeshia Adams-Ginyard, Audrina Miranda, Peanuts voice actress Gini Holtzman, Five Nights at Freddy's voice actress Madison Brunoehler and Panda Khan cartoonist Dave Garcia. There is also an artist alley with local creators such as graphic novelist Jose Pimienta, a vendor hall, a cosplay contest with local cosplay groups including the Lantern Crew and the Imperial Valley Cosplayers Group, a scavenger hunt and an exclusive convention comic. Children 12 and under get in free with a paid adult.
