NekoCon 2026

NekoCon is Virginia’s longest-running anime convention, founded in 1998 and held each November at the Hampton Roads Convention Center in Hampton, Virginia. It is run by Event Support Solutions, Inc. (ESSI).

The 2026 edition, NekoCon’s 28th year, runs November 6–8 under the kaiju theme “The Rise of Purrzilla!”. Along with anime voice actor guests, it offers panels, the Purr-Formance cosplay competition (formerly the Masquerade), Catwalk and From Scratch craftsmanship contests, the Neko Idol Festival, the Starlight Maid & Butler Café, an AMV contest, LARP, karaoke, nightly dances, an itasha showcase, an exhibitors hall and an artists alley with featured artists Mr. Kittys and Saiyre Illustration & Design.
