Peli Con 2026

Peli Con is a home-grown comic convention and fan festival founded in New Roads, Louisiana, in 2023 and now held at the Anthony Dugas Recreation Center in North Park, Denham Springs. It celebrates comics, art, collectibles, trading card games, film and fandom, with vendors, food trucks, arcade games, video game and cosplay contests, and its signature doodle contest open to all ages.

The fourth annual Peli Con runs Saturday, September 26, 2026, from 11 AM to 6 PM. Guests include actors Michael Papajohn (Spider-Man), Joseph Poliquin (Five Nights at Freddy's), James Stokes, Lance Weller and Johnny Garcia; comic creators Roland Paris, Steven Butler, Lily Butler, Anthony Figaro, Robby Musso, Rob Broussard, John Holland, Kristen Kortright, Jarius Burton, Micah Jeansonne and the Sankofa's Eymbrace team of Antoine Dijion Mitchell and Erica Ayxa Williams; horror author Moira Ashe, game developer Jeremy Pourcy of Jrago Studios, painter Casey Ferrari Meehan, and cosplay guests Toad Sage Cosplay, Mizzuz Achree, Dragon Lady Cosplay, Lady Luna Loveless and Strangecat Cosplay. Dark Atom Studios, local comic shops and dozens of artist and fandom vendors round out the lineup.
