Scream Diego 2026

Scream Diego is San Diego's Halloween and horror convention, a one-day show produced by Silk Road Productions (the team behind Fangaea and San Diego Anime Con) with horror guests, panels, vendors and artists, a horror short film festival, tabletop games, a kids' zone and a costume contest.

The third annual Scream Diego is Saturday, October 17, 2026 (10am–6pm) at its new venue, the DoubleTree by Hilton San Diego – Mission Valley at Hazard Center, across from the Hazard Center trolley station. Special guests include indie horror director Dustin Ferguson, Jed Rowen (Brute 1976), makeup effects artist Jeff Farley, Mark Torgl (The Toxic Avenger), Michael Kenworthy (Return of the Living Dead Part II, The Blob), Mike Caravella (Astral Plane Drifter) and Vincent M. Ward (The Walking Dead). Two panel rooms include Horror Writers Association panels with authors such as Jonathan Maberry and Scott Sigler, and the Monster Prom after-party (6–10pm) features Club Ascension DJs Robin Roth and Kaerie. General admission is $20 in advance and $25 at the door; children under 8 get in free.
