The PropCon 2026

The PropCon is a new Daytona Beach convention built around movie props, practical effects and the makers behind them, with cosplay, gaming, fantasy and horror mixed in. It is run by three local business owners behind The Prop Site.

The 2026 show runs Saturday and Sunday, October 3–4 (10am–5pm) at the Ocean Center. Guests include actor Martin Klebba (Pirates of the Caribbean), Saw trap builder and pyrotechnics veteran T. Brooklyn Bellissimo with an original Reverse Bear Trap photo op, prop maker Eric Anthony Leong of Screen Captured Props with screen-used weapons, and live mold-making demos from Nicholas Hall. Also on the floor: character appearances (Run With Jack's Captain Jack Sparrow, PikaBelleChu and the PikaBug, Jaxon's Carnival of Characters and its 8-foot BumbleBee), armored knight battles by Castle Tournaments, Thaliondor foam fighting, Brick City Comedy stand-up, costume and cosplay contests, a Smash Bros. competition, arcade cabinets and a maker marketplace. Tickets are $20 Saturday, $15 Sunday or $30 for the weekend, and kids 10 and under get in free with a paid adult.
