Tiger Con 2026

Tiger Con is Valdosta, Georgia's anime, sci-fi, gaming and comic convention, run since 2018 by the Southern Comics and Anime Nerds, a fan club that began as an anime club on Moody Air Force Base (home of the Flying Tigers, hence the name and the winged-tiger mascot Tora). Since 2023 it has filled the Valdosta State University Student Union, with a dealer den and artist alley, panels, video and tabletop gaming, a maid cafe, costume and AMV contests, a ramen eating contest, a Vocaloid concert and a dance party; recent editions drew over 1,000 attendees.

The 2026 show runs Halloween weekend, Saturday–Sunday, October 31–November 1, with voice actors Tiffany Grant (Asuka in Neon Genesis Evangelion), Carrie Keranen (Kill la Kill, Puella Magi Madoka Magica) and Carrie Savage (Fairy Tail, Ikki Tousen), Power Rangers Wild Force star Jessica Rey, cosplay guests AlteredEgo Cosplay, Hallow Eve Cosplay and Raenisa Elavaris, artist Amberluvsbugs (Poppy Playtime), and musical guests Azazus, EmpathP (Empathy Studios), Your Friendly Neighborhood Con Artists and None Like Joshua. The 501st Legion and the Society for Creative Anachronism also return. Military, first responders and VSU students and faculty get $5 off tickets.
