Effing-Con is Effingham, Illinois' one-day video game, tabletop and card game convention, held since 2021, with gaming tournaments, a cosplay contest, panels, vendors and guests.
The 2026 show (Saturday, November 28, at the Thelma Keller Convention Center) features Mortal Kombat's original Johnny Cage, Daniel Pesina, and original Raiden, Carlos Pesina, along with animation and comic artist Jeff Brennan and game designer and comic creator Charles D.
