Horror for the Holidays 2026

Horror for the Holidays is Austin's biggest and longest-running horror-themed holiday expo, produced by Blood Over Texas since 2014. Started as a horror shopping market, it now adds celebrity guests with Q&As and photo ops, the Blood Over Texas Film Festival, a cosplay contest, craft classes, Evil Santa photos, a Krampus Parade and a Saturday night showcase. Winner of the Austin Chronicle's 2019 Best of Austin award.

The 2026 expo moves to the Hilton Austin Downtown for November 21–22, 2026 (Saturday 11am–10pm, Sunday 11am–5pm), with Nightmare on Elm Street final girls Heather Langenkamp and Lisa Wilcox, Kelli Maroney (Chopping Mall's 40th anniversary), Jeepers Creepers' Jonathan Breck (in costume) and creature designer Brian Penikas, and Marc Price with a comedy set and a Trick or Treat 40th-anniversary screening.
