I discovered another Cosplay combination to fall in love with at Phoenix Fan Fusion: Cosplay and Steampunk! I couldn’t take my eyes off this Steampunk Rainbow Brite. So insanely creative!

I photographed this insanely high detailed Cosplay at Phoenix Fan Fusion. This was the first time I was at a convention that had a Steampunk Fashion Show! We were too packed in our studio to attend, but did get to photograph a few who participated. I loved how the worlds of Cosplay and Steampunk combine to create stunning masterpieces.

Our next convention is ConnectiCon XIX 2022 in Hartford, CT, July 14-17.

Phoenix was truly insane! Cosplay creators had three years since the last convention and wow did they achieve perfection. I followed this stunning Cosplayer before the convention on Instagram and hoped to catch up with her at the Con. My wish was granted and I was floored by the attention to detail. Head to toe, inside and out Ursula vibes that poured from her! To create the Cosplay is one thing, but to also be able to at will bring the character to life by actions is quite another. So impressive on so many levels!

I photographed this stunning Lady Elytra Cosplay at Huntsville Comic and Pop Culture Expo in Alabama. The entire cosplay was beautiful and crazy creative (even a stunning prop) but my favorite image had to be this close up of the headpiece.
